It is unlikely that Suzuki or Mazda will make a Cara/AZ-1 again. Both car manufactures decided to make only high volume production models. But in 2003 Suzuki surprised the car industry with a lovely prototype called the S-ride.

No gullwing or lambo doors but the complete top goes up! Jump in and drive a way. The cell structure looks like a Smart. This car is much more attractive than a Smart.

But this time the seat are not situated next to each other but in a line! The only vehicle that shares the same idea is the Carver.

Naturally this unsual car needs a different dashboard. It's a pitty that Suzuki didn't go further with the development. I would be the first one to order the S-ride!
