Set 1.1

This set consists of 1 steppingmotor with a torque of 12 Nm ( 34SM155-042-8W-SB-12 ) and a microstepdriver with 230 Vac input ( MSD-230-8 ) ! This is a very strong and fast steppergmotor-microstepdriver combination. Specifications:

Set 2.1

Set with 1 steppermotor 1.3 Nm ( 23SM056-028-8W-F-1.3 ) with a 3 Ampere driver ( SJ030 ). One of the cheapest steppermotor-micorstep-driver setse. Specifications:

Set 1.3

This is a set for smaller systems. The set consists of 3 steppingmotors of 1.3 Nm holding torque ( 23SM056-028-8W-F-1.3 ) and 3 matching microstepdrivers ( SJ030 ). De steppingmotors have the Nema 23 size. The microstepdrivers need a DC powersupply with an outputvoltage between 24 and 40 Volt. The higher the voltage, the better the torque will be at higer speeds. The current the powersupply needs to deliver depends on the load of the steppingmotors and howmany steppingmotors will accelerate at the same time. For minor loads, a powersupply of 24 Volt and 3 Amp will usually be sufficient. This is because the drivers don't send more current to the steppingmotors than is necissarely. The maximum number of steps is 8000 steps/rotation. This will give a smooth operation, even if that kind of precision isnt'necissary.

Set 2.3

This is a set for bigger systems. The set consists of 2 steppingmotors of 2.5 Nm holding torque ( 23SM112-030-8W-S-2.5 ), 1 steppingmotor with a holdingtorque of 1.7 Nm ( 23SM080-28-8W-F-1.7 ) for the z-ax and 3 matching microstepdrivers ( SJ030 ). De steppingmotors all have the Nema 23 size. The microstepdrivers need a DC powersupply with an outputvoltage between 24 and 40 Volt. The higher the voltage, the better the torque will be at higer speeds. The current the powersupply needs to deliver depends on the load of the steppingmotors and howmany steppingmotors will accelerate at the same time. Set 3.3

This is a very popular set. This set is for serieus systems and haves the best price/performance. The set consists of 3 steppingmotors with 6.4 Nm holding torque ( 34SM095-050-8W-S-6.4 ) 3 matching microstepdrivers ( SJ090 ). De steppingmotors all have the Nema 34 size. The microstepdrivers need an AC transformer with one output voltage between 16 and 19 Vac ( logic ) and one between 40 and 65 Vac for the steppermotor drive stage. The higher the second voltage, the better the torque will be at higer speeds. The current the powersupply needs to deliver depends on the load of the steppingmotors and howmany steppingmotors will accelerate at the same time. For minor loads, a transformer of 40 Vac and 3 Amp ( for the steppermotor drivestage ) will usually be sufficient. This is because the drivers don't send more current to the steppingmotors than is necissarely. The maximum number of steps is 8000 steps/rotation. This will give a smooth operation, even if that kind of precision isnt'necissary

 

Set 4.3

This is a simple, yet complete set with drivers and uses the powersupply of the computer. So there is no need for an external powersupply. It has 3 drivers with 1,2,4 or 8 microsteps. Good set for the beginner to start with, or for relative light work. Works ok, but does not get the maximum out of the drivers and motors. Can be used with a external powersupply to make it a better set. All three motors are of the nema 23 size. Resolution is 1600 steps per revolution ( maximum ). Optocoupler input.

Set 4.3a

Same as 4.3, but with both cables and software on cd. Comes complet with cables ( one to the powersupply of the computer and one to the printerport ) and legal software ( turboccnc and mach3 ) on cd. Completely working, just connect the two cables and it works.

Set 5.3

Complete Set. This is a set with 3 Steppermotors of 6.4 Nm, 3 Drivers MSD-50-6.5, one powersupply MSD230-40-7 ( 40 Volt, 7 Ampere ) and cables.
