Ducati Four-valve L-twin 1098 Evoluzione

5 years after Ducati released the Ducati Testastretta (2001), they launched the completely restyled 1098 Evoluzione (2006).
Things changed to the desmo-system/head:
* Angle between intake and exhaust valve slightly reduced and together with the shorter cam-follower fingers allowing high-flowing straight intake (oval) ducts
* New generation combustion chambers featuring racing sized valves (intake 42 mm, exhaust 34 mm)
* Shorter opening cam-follower fingers and slightly smaller closing rockers
* Lower position of exhaust camshaft shortening the engine, improving the distance between front cilinder and frontwheel.
